Global Perspective

 

For the last three decades, Steven Ryder has designed award-winning architecture for local, national and international clients within diverse market sectors. Like the design process, the best buildings are a balance—contemporary yet enduring, rational yet provocative.  Steven’s 25 years of international design in the Pacific Rim includes projects in Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia, India, Brazil, and the Middle East. 

 

As international design architects and planners, we are collaborative partners providing design leadership, knowledge, and unique global perspective to high performance teams which has lead to numerous successful and award winning project.  Steven Ryder has personally lead projects from concept to completion bringing the collective wealth of years of expertise and knowledge to each client’s vision. 

He received a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley in 1977, and was a registered architect in the State of California.  He has been the leader of many award-winning projects, most notably The Grove at Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles, NHN (Naver) Headquarters, Infinity Forum, and Samseong Bromex Master Plan in Seoul, Korea, and The J. David Gladstone Institutes at the UCSF Mission Bay Campus in San Francisco, California.  Mr. Ryder’s design experience is broad and diverse including over 200 architectural projects, multiple awards and publications, and 7 AIA Awards, in the following primary markets: Large-scale Mixed Use, Corporate & Commercial Office, Planning and Urban Design, Retail and Entertainment, Civic, Research and Technology, Healthcare, Hotel and Resort and High-rise Residential.
